This blog talks about my work. East West Center for Counselling and Training is a psychological counselling center. Being a counsellor, counselling supervisor and a trainer for counsellors, I head the team of 7 counsellors + a counselling supervisor.

We see clients as young as 3 years upto 60+ years. Issues people come to us for:

1. Behaviour issues with children
2. Children in the middle of child custody or newly divorced parents
3. Building self esteem of children with special needs - LD, slow learners, ADD etc
4. Sessions for children are either group therapy or individual sessions
5. Couple/ marriage counselling
6. Working with same sex couples
7. Adult children and parents conflicts
8. Working with grief
9. Post Traumatic stress disorder

Training:

1. Adolescent issues - gender, attractions etc
2. Workshops for parents, teachers and children
3. Training for counsellors/ therapists on child friendly approaches

Our offices are located in Nungambakkam and Kilpauk.
Our methodology include using art, theatre, story, movement and music.
